Endress+Hauser develops wastewater monitoring platform

Responding to municipal challenges with respect to the tightening of effluent requirements, Endress+Hauser has developed a comprehensive platform for the real-time monitoring of critical parameters for wastewater and the collection of representative samples for lab testing.

Based on the company’s Liquiline transmitter platform, combined with Promag flow measurement, the new platform features a variety of tools, including Memosens sensors (for pH, turbiditiy, spectral absorption coefficient for organics and dissolved oxygen), Liquistation CSF48 and CSF34 monitoring stations and CA80-series colorimetric analyzers for phosphorus and ammonia.

In particular, the CA80’s precise, positive displacement dispensers for reagent dosing and cooling systems can help reduce the consumption of reagents, while an optional cooling module can further extend their longevity. An integrated calibration and automatic backwash system keeps filters clean to ensure reliable operations over extended periods without manual intervention.
